8月26日 the rant about Michael Bay's rantFeatured Link: "What Has Our Society Come To?" by Michael Bay. *Roflmao* Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahhaahahahahaha!!!! Hahahahahaahahahahahaaaaa... hehehe..... ok ok ok *wipes away tear* ok... enough laughing.... *snicker* *cracks smile* Bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! Oh my side hurts hahahahahahahahaha!!! *sighs* oh that was a good one, just sooo funny, I mean its funny cuz he almost sounds serious, of all the self righteous, egotistical and bitter things to gripe about. His rant is absolutely ridiculous. So his movie didn't do well in the box office. So he won't be making several hundred million dollars this year. Wah, poor baby. Suck it up, buttercup. He doesn't even take into account that it may have been his movie, no it's got to be the penguins. No, there can't possibly be something wrong with my movie... the problem is somewhere else. Oh and what makes his little childish tirade even more funny is that it comes from Michael Bay, the guy who made such movies as "Pearl Harbor" and "Armageddon". That alone is a joke in itself, these movies have been trashed hard by critics for the fact that if you take away the billions of explosions and cgi effect there's a grand total of about 10 minutes of actual story there. His movies are all about action and blowshitupus. Armageddon came out at about the same time as another giant asteroid movie called Deep Impact, of those two I liked Deep Impact Better. I liked the many different stories and more of the humanistic approach to the story in Deep Impact more than the road trip across an asteroid by a bunch of misfit oil drillers who actually would have had no hope in hell of actually making that trip to dig into the asteroid. I also didn't like the whole "America Wins the Day!" aspect of a lot of summer blockbusters. Why exactly does america have to win? Can't it be a joint global effort to combat the thing that comes to wipe out the planet? In all honesty Armageddon wasn't *that* bad, I liked Deep Impact better. Pearl Harbour, on the other hand, is bad for many reasons. I personally thought it was a bad idea to take a tragedy such as Pearl Harbour and make it into an action adventure summmer blockbuster. It is just bad taste. I don't know why but for some reason when I go to a movie in the summer I'd rather see something fun and exciting as opposed to a glorified historical tragedy. I also thought Titanic was a poor choice for a blockbuster, but it wasn't as bad as Pearl Harbor. So... Michael what's next for you? How about an action packed version of the Holocaust? Ooooh, even better, 9/11!! Lots of your precious explosions and cgi work in that one. You can even get your precious Ben Affleck to play a firefighter. Speaking of which... must you use Ben Affleck again? The guy is not that good an actor and everyone is just plain sick of him. He's almost as full of himself as Michael is. Anywho, I just still don't get what the big deal is, maybe people are looking for a little bit more substance in movies lately, gone are the days of Rambos and Conans, people today are apparently needing a little bit more intelligence in their entertainment. Maybe you'll learn that in your next movie you won't give away the entire plot in the trailers. I mean the Island could have been a good movie, if he had kept the fact that they were clones a secret, one of those twist at the end deals which are so popular today. I didn't see it because after watching the trailers I felt I had already seen it. See previous rant about movie trailers#1 for more on how I feel about that. So Michael, you found out the hard way that your mindless entertainment is not as marketable as it used to be. You also found out that your audience is smarter than you are since they understand the plot and importance of the harsh life of a penguin and you obviously cannot. Maybe if you stop watching the kabooms and pay attention a little bit to the lives of other living creatures around you you might even find inspiration to do a story about animals too. Some peole found the penguins lives to be more tragic and heartbreaking than your clones. Michael, a word of advice: you need to evolve, or die. 引用通告此日志的引用通告 URL 是: http://apathygrrl.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!5712E5E005791E46!202.trak 引用此项的网络日志
