8月14日 the rant about kids & caffeineYou know, its scary just how many parents buy caffeinated beverages for their kids. I'm not just talking about coke or pepsi but coffee, and i'm not just talking about young teens but kids like 6 years old. I'm serious. Parents, wake up! Caffeine is bad for you and even worse for young kids. They go to Tim Hortons and they buy them iced capps, emphasis on the word *capp*. Do they not know that *capp* is short for Cappuccino? Sure it's a funky little slushy frosty drink but it has caffeine in it. Why are you giving this to your child? The Moolates from DQ, same thing, lots of caffeine, and kids with Red Bull?? What are you thinking? Parents still buy these for their kids. Why? I have no idea... and then they wonder why their kids are hyperactive, aggitated, uncontrollable, etc. "Oh it must be ADD." Duh. Then, I see pre-teens all the time drinking espressos on their lunch break from junior high school, thinking they're being adult and cool but they're damaging their health and don't care. Don't even get me started on kids with cigarettes. (Insert even longer rant here) Seriously, there are a lot of parents who really should pay closer attention to their children. Things like what they eat, what they watch on tv, what they learn in school, what they're learning from peers, etc should get a bit more attention payed towards it, but unfortunately a lot of the time it isn't as many see it as trivial. Believe me, it isn't trivial. Listen to your children, and don't give them caffeine. 引用通告此內容的引用通告是: http://apathygrrl.spaces.live.com/blog/cns!5712E5E005791E46!157.trak 引述這則內容的部落格
