Ok i read this article and I disagree with one point far more than any other points in this article, and the point I disagreed with the most was when he mentioned that the quote from Lord of the Rings belonging to Gandalf "All we have to decide is what to do with the time that is given us.” should have made the top 100 list instead of Gollum's quote of "My precious." I wholeheartedly feel as though Gollum's quote is exactly where it should be on the list. My reasoning behind this is that if you go out on the street right now and asked people to identify which move Gandalf's quote came from and i'd say that less than half of them would correctly identify Lord of the Rings, however if you asked people what movie "My precious" came from i'd say at least 85% of them would get it right. Even 10 years from now more people would remember Gollum's quote over Gandalf's. I quote it fairly often myself and i've heard other people quote it too, even comedians on tv. So, Gollum's quote is fine right where it is, where it belongs.
